"The Path to Becoming"
a 31mm 1
description:: At just 1 1/4\", this is the most visually stunning piece I\'ve done. On the inside, a rocky cavern, far larger and deeper than the marble could possibly contain, yet so intricately detailed, with tiny ridges in the rocks. On the outside, a raked floral design with rock-like designs and a beautiful iridescence that ranges the whole rainbow. The dominant color below the iridescence fades tastefully from a rich green to a delicate purple. All of the lines are clean and sharp, and the designs are as natural as the piece\'s colors.
In designs like this, I strive with Eastern aesthetic for something more natural than nature herself builds. There is no winning that competition, but this was a good try, and I am proud of it.
I\'ve signed this piece with my initials using a titanium pen. This is my first glass piece to receive this signature, which I designed to give my first and last initials symmetry and was pleased to discover looks like a butterfly and reads the same upside down as rightside up.
Handmade by me in Texas.
